Welcome to the chateau of Nitray
(XVth and XVIth centuries) in Athée/Cher, located in the middle of a 43 hectares wide
park, with a Renaissance style rose garden keeping old protected varieties.
You will discover the estate : the chapel and pigeon house… Then, you will have a
guided tour about the art of making wine. This museum shows all different traditional
tools an instruments used in the vineyards to make still and sparkling wines, to make the
barrels. |

Then in a friendly atmosphere, you will be able to make a
comparative tasting of the different wines produced on the estate. A degree of
"Chevalier du Val de Loire" will be given to the group after a mini wine
enthronement. Then you will have a good meal in the room "François 1st " around
a long table in a convivial and friendly atmosphere.
