PROGRAMME
DAY 1
10:00 a.m.
Visit the chateau of Chambord. 4 centuries after its building, it still mystifies
one's imagination: 156 meters of façade, 56 meters high, 440 rooms… Departure for Amboise,
following the banks of the Loire river.
12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Lunch in a traditional troglodyte restaurant. Continue towards Rochecorbon, a small
troglodyte village. |

4:00 p.m.
Leave Rochecorbon on board of the "Saint-Martin-de-Tours", a pleasantly
fitted-out, sheltered boat for a UNIQUE CRUISE WITH EXPLANATIONS ABOUT THE LOIRE RIVER.
5:00 p.m.
Wine tasting in a Vouvray wine cellar. Late afternoon: check-in in a2 ** hotel, in
the city centre. Dinner in a restaurant nearby. Night at the hotel.

DAY 2
Breakfast at the hotel.
10:00 a.m.
Meet with our guide at the Tourist Office for a two- hours GUIDED VISIT OF TOURS:
Sightseeing of the city in your coach and discovery by foot of the area called "Old
Tours" , now one of the town's prime sites.
12:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Lunch in a Tours town centre restaurant. Leave for Villandry.
2:30 p.m.
Visit the famous VILLANDRY GARDENS whichsurround like a jewellery box, the last
great Renaissance château built on the banks of the Cher river. (1536).
