Arrival at the CHATEAU OF CHAMPCHEVRIER, located in the heart of a harmoniously wooded site. Louis XIIIth loved this chateau and stayed here several times. You will be welcomed by the owner, who will guide you through a historical chateau inhabited by the same family since 1728 and still echoing with its royal past. From the kitchen, with its impressive copper utensils to the sumptuously decorated ceremonial rooms in which you will find exceptional XVIIth century tapestries, visiting Champchevrier is an unforgettable walk between nature and historical heritage, in a Renaissance and XVIIIth century settings where the still living fox hunting tradition will guide you.

Optional : Inside the hunting room of the chateau, Tea will be served. You may have a cup of tea or coffee, a fruit juice and you will savour French style brioches and cake with home made jam. You may also discover the former kitchen with its copper utensils, the linen room and its collection of irons.
